How will Hoodie help monitor the mental health of the staff within our organization?The daily number entered by each staff member to reflect their mood will provide a general overview of the mood of all the staff. You can also use the weekly and monthly statistics to get a bigger snapshot of the overall mood of the team. These can be used to help you gain valuable insights on what to improve, what to change, or what's working.

Will this app actually create a change?As veterinary professionals, our focus is on shifting toward empowering all people in the veterinary industry. The short answer is, yes, we believe so, but it is a group effort from the entire team. When everyone is in alignment, feels heard and supported, true change can happen. Hoodie is designed to help get you there.

What qualifies you to run this app?Nothing. Well, no printed certification. Being passionate about the veterinary profession and everyone who works in it, our obligation is to be loving and inclusive and to bring the best into the veterinary industry. With that, we have also consulted with industry professionals to add to our own real-life experiences to create this tool to help validate and help heal pain and bring hope, compassion, and recognition for the work that you do in this beautiful industry.

Where does the content come from?Our "Journal" content comes from inspired, experienced, and award-winning veterinary doctors. Everything else is open-source material or proven things relevant to mental health awareness, trauma awareness and psychological safety courses and books. Our belief is that we owe all that we know to the ones who came before us. Please take what makes sense to you and leave the rest.

Why can I send emotional reinforcements but am not receiving any? Are they lost in cyber-space?The long story: In a recent study, Lanmiao He, an Iowa State University psychologist and quantitative social scientist explains it best; "This simple practice of extending loving-kindness to others works equally well to reduce anxiety, increase happiness, empathy, and feelings of social connection." His colleague and professor of psychology Douglas Gentile found in the same study that “Walking around and offering kindness to others in the world reduces anxiety and increases happiness and feelings of social connection." Can I get full-time free access?There is currently no long-term free subscription. However, there is a free 30-day risk-free trial.

Can I use Hoodie without an internet connection?Hoodie requires an internet connection to be used to its full potential.

How many teams can I or my veterinary clinic create on Hoodie?You or your veterinary clinic can have as many teams as possible. Each team unique and has its own administrator.

Can an administrator manage more than one team?Yes. An administrator can manage as many teams as they want to.

Will the administrator be able to see the profiles of the team members on the mobile app or on the desktop app?The administrator can manage the team members on the desktop app only. Each team member will only use Hoodie through the mobile app.

Will Team members have access to the desktop app?No. Team members will only have access to the Hoodie mobile app. Only the Administrator has access to the desktop app.

How many members can be in a team?The maximum is 40 team members per team.

Is the team administrator also part of the maximum number allowed in a team?Yes. The team administrator is part of the 40-maximum number of people (members) in a team

Who sets up the profile of each member in a team?The administrator adds every team member in each team. After that, the team member receives the invitation to join the team.

How many teams and what does the monthly or annual payment subscription cover?The monthly or annual payment subscription covers a team of 40 members only, for the subscription plan chosen.
